Wray: Trump White House didn't ask for loyalty

President Trump's pick for FBI director faced the senate Wednesday for his confirmation and hearing, which touched on numerous topics. Wray is replacing the fired James Comey, who testified in June that Trump asked him for loyalty shortly after taking office and later made a statement that Comey interpreted as a request to "drop" an investigation into former national security advisor Michael Flynn. No one asked me for any kind of loyalty oath at any point during this process and I sure as heck didn't offer one. He added that he's "very committed" to supporting ex-director Robert Mueller as he heads a special counsel investigation into the alleged Trump campaign's links with Russia.
