Prosecution Wraps up in Paul Manafort Trial

Prosecution Wraps up in Paul Manafort Trial Prosecutors have rested their case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort after 10 days of testimony. Manafort’s lawyers will now tell the court whether they plan to call any witnesses. Manafort himself will be asked by the judge if he'd like to testify, but experts say it is unlikely. Should the defense rest, closing statements would follow, after which the jury will begin deliberations. Manafort is being tried on 18 counts, which include tax and bank fraud charges. If found guilty on all charges, he could face eight to 10 years in prison.
